Garfield has been immersed in high-calorie food, sleeping, teasing the stupid dog and the doting of his owner Jon Abb (Breckin Meyer). Garfield thinks this is the perfect life. Until one day, when Jon took Garfield to the pet hospital, he was entrusted by the beauty veterinarian to adopt the puppy Odie, Garfield's life changed completely. Odie's arrival means sharing food and Abb's favor with Garfield, and what makes Garfield even more jealous is that Abe went on a date with a beautiful veterinarian instead of him. Garfield couldn't wait to kick Odie out of the house. One night, Garfield shut Odie out. He only wanted to punish Odie, but he got lost. Abby went out to find Odie in vain. Through investigation, Garfield learned that Odie had been captured by a cruel dog trainer. Garfield decided to show his skills and went alone to rescue Odie.
