New Haiyuan (Kimura Takuya), the co-pilot of International Airlines, has always dreamed of becoming a captain. On a flight back to Japan from Honolulu, the captain's island suddenly felt unwell and could not continue to drive. This sudden moment of crisis, because of Xinhai's calm judgment, caused the plane to land safely. Because of the fault, Xinhai was severely reprimanded by the prosecutor Yoshida Yoshu (Embankment Zhenichi) and the dissatisfaction of the female mechanic Saegawa Bushi (Miyuki Shibataki). Xinhai felt very frustrated and depressed. Captain Mishima decided to retire after his last flight for health reasons. Xiangtian worried about the body of Mishima and the newcomer Xinhai, decided to accompany them to fly together. In the course of the flight, Xiangtian witnessed the professional ability and judgment of Xinhai, and had no previous understanding of Xinhai.
