The story takes place at Marguerite College, a boarding school for aristocratic children in St. Val in 1924. As soon as the transfer student Yoshiya Hisumi (dubbed by Takashi Eguchi) arrived at the school, he was called the unknown "Black Reaper" because of his appearance. In fact, Yimi is an honest and dull boy, but it is this character that makes him easily involved in strange events that are difficult to explain in common sense. In an incident, Yimi met the petite blond girl Victoria Liga (voiced by Yumubi). The enigmatic girl helped out of the danger with her superb IQ, and the bond between the two began.
