Growth (2009)

Since 1985, a large number of scientists have flocked to the remote pearl-rich island of Kathak to carry out various experimental studies. Until 1988, when the deadly flu spread around the world, scientists gathered a group of volunteers to test a genetically modified vaccine on the island of Kathak. They injected a parasite into humans to strengthen their physique, and although the experiment achieved initial results, most of the people who took part in the experiment died unexpectedly. Jamie Ackerman (Mircea Monroe) is one of the few survivors of the disaster. Twenty years later, in order to deal with the legacy of his parents, Jamie, her boyfriend and brother returned to this island full of horrible memories. Some people hope to find a way to kill parasites through her, while at the same time, the latest varieties of parasites are spreading wantonly, and the lives of islanders are under greater threat.
