Kate Beckinsell will star in Paramount+ 's half-hour black comedy series "the guilty side." The play is written by Rebecca Adelman and directed by Trent O'Donnell. The show tells the story of Beth Baker, an unknown journalist played by Beth Baker, who is eager to save her career by targeting a young mother who is in prison for seriously injuring and murdering her husband but pleads not guilty. In the process of revealing the truth, Beth found herself caught up in a history that included Colorado gun smugglers, headline party culture, failed marriages and her no longer glamorous past. The show was originally scheduled to star in Ella Fischer, but Fischer withdrew from the project because of the epidemic, and Beckinsell took his place.
