The prisoner sentenced to life imprisonment, Qingtaro Sakuma (Takeshi Yamada), once served his sentence in Tokyo's Kogan prison, obeying only to the humane guard minister Takeshi Urada (Takeshi Kitano). In the 17th year of Showa, Sakumi escaped from Akita Prison. Three months later, Sakumi ran to the Puda home to complain about the inhuman life of Akita Prison. However, Urada took the opportunity to report to the police, Sakuma was arrested and sent to the net prison. After that, Urada was transferred to the net prison to be the chief caretaker, so the two men began a long battle.
