Freddy (Tom Riley Tom Riley) and Maura (Sally Hawkins Sally Hawkins) happen to be married in the same hotel on the same day, and similarly, they have little expectation of their upcoming marriage. Freddy's fiancee Sophia (Guardian Uriel Jade Yourell) is a neurotic woman who often makes Freddy very big. Not only that, she also has a pair of parents who are very controlling. Sophia's neuroticism may have been inherited from them. Mora lives a hard life alone with her daughter, and her house is about to be reclaimed by the government, so she decides to make a living through fake marriage, choosing to marry Wilson, a wealthy African immigrant (played by Simon Delaney Simon Delaney), so that Wilson can get a green card and she can get asylum.
