Harold, a young Korean (John Zhao John Cho), a junior analyst at China Merchants Bank, is cautious and shy, but his colleagues cut off a lot of work on a relaxing weekend night. On this side, Harold's good friend Karma (Karl Pan Kal Penn) takes the initiative to screw up a hospital interview, an Indian youth from a family of doctors who has been running away from medicine because he is unwilling to give up his unfettered student life. That night, Harold and Karma felt hungry after smoking marijuana. The TV advertisement for a hamburger from "White Castle" aroused their great interest. They drove there, who knew that the nearest local white castle had been transferred four years ago. The two men, who were aroused by the hamburger, decided to do whatever it takes to find a white castle, and they crossed the whole of New Jersey. Along the way, this pair of friends with very different personalities also realized the value of their friendship.
