He liu (1997)
After working as an extra, Xiaokang (Li Kangsheng) suffered from a strange disease of crooked neck, and his father (Miao Tian) took him everywhere for medical treatment. Although the father already has a wife and son, he is a homosexual who lust for the young boy's body. The family already exists in name only and has lost the ability to take responsibility (or thinks that there is no responsibility to bear), but for the well-off society, he unconsciously plays the traditional role of "father", but it can only be dereliction of duty. Xiaokang is a young homosexual, but he is not clear about what kind of comfort he expects from homosexuality. His parents' estrangement not only makes him lose confidence in the relationship between men and women, but also blindly believes that the understanding of same-sex relationship is only a brief attraction and union of two bodies. As a mother (Lu Xiaolin) who was snubbed by her husband (contemporary man) and her son (younger man) at the same time, she could only silently endure the hunger and loneliness of both body and spirit.
