Heaven's Burning (1997)

Midori, a Japanese bride, directed and acted in a kidnapping case to escape her wedding night and then elope with her lover, but the plan changed unexpectedly. First of all, her lover didn't show up at the appointed time, so poor Midori had to wander alone in Sydney, Australia. When she entered the local bank to cash her change, she came across a robbery led by Afghan refugees. In a fit of confusion, the robbery failed and the robbers took Midori hostage. When the gangsters were about to kill her, the driver they hired, Colin, came forward to save Midori. As a result, the two joined hands on a fugitive journey across Australia. But police in Japan and Australia, as well as Midori's angry and crazy husband, are in hot pursuit. Can this pair of fugitive lovebirds escape this road of no return?
