Orphan Heidi (Anouk Steffen) is sent by Aunt Didi (Anna Hines) to the Alps to live with his grandfather (Bruno Ganz) who lives alone in the mountains far from the town. The lively Heidi is like a fish in water here, not only reaping the friendship of Peter the shepherd (Quinn Agrippi) and the affection of his lonely grandfather, but also blending with Peter's family down the hill. One day, Heidi and Peter were herding sheep on the mountain when her aunt suddenly appeared and coaxed Heidi into selling Heidi to Zesseman's house in Frankfurt. From then on, Heidi, who could not see A, became the companion of Miss Clara (Isabel Altman). Clara lost her mother when she was young and was no longer able to stand up after a serious illness, so she had to be trapped in a mansion with a wheelchair. Father (Maxim Mehmet) seldom comes home from home all the year round, and the lonely Clara takes Heidi as a lifesaver. Can Heidi adapt to the new life of the Zetzeman family? Will the distant grandfather and Peter see each other again? Is there any hope that Clara's leg will get better?
