This film is adapted from a children's book of the same name created by Free Louis Duncan (Lois Duncan). 16-year-old orphan Andy (Emma Roberts Emma Roberts) and brother Bruce (Jack T. Austin Jake T. Austin) are adopted by a family, but the family does not allow them to keep pets. They can only put their dependent puppy "Friday" in an abandoned hotel. Although the hotel is dilapidated, it is very suitable for dogs. Andy, Bruce and friends began to rebuild the hotel and invented a series of convenient and practical automatic devices to help dogs become "self-sufficient".
