Margaret Ford, author of the best-selling book the driving Force of behavior, is a psychoanalyst. To help her patient Billy, a gambler whose life is threatened by gambling debts, she goes deep into the casino to understand the psychology of gamblers. And met Billy's creditor Mike there. The smooth-tongued Mike was full of sweet words and tried to drag Margaret into the water. Under the inducement of Mike, part of Marguerite herself seems to have revived and achieved some kind of "liberation". She took part in a so-called gambling scam and tried to profit from it, but the elaborate scheme went wrong: Marguerite lost a lot of money when she accidentally killed a policeman. Later, Marguerite found out that it all turned out to be a big scam, and she was fooled by Mike. In order to recover the lost money, Marguerite also set a game, but was seen through by Mike, she had to shoot him to death. Without a creditor, Margaret became a real gambler, using the methods Mike taught her to get what she wanted.
