Housebound (2014)

Drug addict Kelly Bucknell (Morgana O'Reilly) and her companions rob a cash machine and are caught by the police. After that, she was sentenced by the judge to eight months in prison at home. Kelly's hometown is in a remote town, and her mother, Milia (Rima Te Wiata), is living with another man. After being installed with a surveillance device, Kelly lost her freedom and had to curl up in the dilapidated house every day. One day, while listening to the radio, she was surprised to find that her mother had called the radio hotline. Milia claimed that she had seen ghosts in the basement of her home, which made her panic. Kelly has always been disgusted with her mother's garrulous words and deeds, but after a few days, she really encountered a series of strange events. In cases where escape is prohibited by law, Kelly can only turn to security guard Amos (Glenn-Paul Varu Glen-Paul Waru) who is interested in psychic events. The test of life and death is imminent.
