Hurricane Streets (1997)

Marcus and Harold, Chep, Justin and other 15-and 16-year-old boys hang out in all neighborhoods of the city, stealing and selling them cheaply near the school. they also own a secluded club-an abandoned basement. Marcus's mother is in prison, so he has been living with his grandmother, who runs a tavern. Marcus's uncle in New Mexico City promised him a ticket to New Mexico City on his 16th birthday. Marcus has been longing for this. Marcus learned from his mother that he was born in New Mexico City. At the age of five, his father died of fatigue driving during a long-distance transportation. After that, his mother left New Mexico City with Marcus. Although Marcus was only five years old that year, his impression of it still lingered. He has always dreamed of going back to see the place where he was born and the place where his parents lived. So it has always been Marcus's greatest wish to return to New Mexico City to start a new life when his mother gets out of prison. While peddling CD around the school, Marcus met the girl Melana. The two hit it off and made an appointment with Marcus a few days later.
