Tonha (Margot Robbie Margot Robbie) grows up in a broken family and lives with her mother (Allison Jennie Allison Janney). Tonha's mother, a cold and autocratic woman, saw her potential as a figure skater in the 3-year-old Tonha, so the little girl was sent to the figure skating team coached by Diane (Julianne Nicholson Julianne Nicholson) to begin training. Tonha spent almost all her childhood on the ice until one day she met a man named Jeff (Sebastian Sebastian Stan) at the skating rink and the two soon fell in love. Jeff changed Tonha's life, but also became her disaster. From then on, Tonha had to face not only the increasingly arduous training, but also the punches and punches from Jeff.
