In 1995, African-American journalist Langston Whitfield went to South Africa to interview the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, an apartheid investigation group led by former Anglican Archbishop Dismonttu. The purpose of their hearings is not only to find out the barbaric crimes, but also to fight the racists with the victims. During this time, he met Anna Malan, a white South African female journalist, who was also reporting on the hearing for the radio. The two began a black-and-white relationship at the end of the apartheid era.
