Summary of the story: a group of childhood playmates gathered again in Tamakova, where they camped together when they were young. The manager of the campsite is affectionately known as Uncle Lu. Although we haven't seen each other for many years, old friends are especially affectionate if they want to see each other. Uncle Lu divided the men and women into the dormitory, which worried Jamie who came with his girlfriend Gowen.
