Cooper (Chris Marquette Chris Marquette), who works in the service department of a pharmaceutical company, is a young man fooling around. He is late for work, careless at work, and plays a prank on his colleagues, and his bad habits make his supervisor Marianne (Deborah Geffner) very unhappy. On the morning Cooper was fired, an unknown disaster suddenly struck. When Cooper woke up from his coma, he found his whole body covered with white cocoons and surrounded by a mess. What made him even more incredible was that the huge beetles shuttled back and forth and attacked him violently. After a struggle, Cooper wins by a fluke. He then rescues Marianne and her daughter Sarah (Brooke Nevin), but Marianne is eventually captured by insects. After the efforts of Sarah and Cooper, they saved many trapped humans, and the survivors had to try their best to fight with these huge insects in order to seize the chance of survival.
