The Takahashi family of three live in a humble little house. The male host, Yoichi Nishimura, works in the library of Northeastern University and has been in love with the female clerk Yizi for five years. The life of the Takahashi family is fraught with crisis and lifeless. One day, when the official was on a business trip, the robber Hiraoka (Lukoumao) slipped into the room at night and beat and raped Zhengzi, the wife of the official. The next morning, the humiliated Zhenzi wanted to commit suicide, but could not give up his love for the child and finally gave up. When Hiraoka came again a few days later, Sadako suddenly found herself pregnant. In order to get rid of Hiraoka's entanglement, she decided to kill this unjust man. This film won the fourth place in the top 10 Japanese films of that year, and ranked seventh out of 100 works in the Cinema.
