In Louisiana in the 18th century, Louis (Brad Pitt), the manor owner who lost his wife and daughter, met the vampire Lestat (Tom Cruise) and became a vampire by his spell. Louis was so human that he didn't want to feed on animals for a living, while Lestat was determined to teach Louis to be a true vampire. In New Orleans, Louis can't resist the temptation to suck the blood of the little girl Claudia (Kersten Dunst), while Lestat turns Claudia into a vampire despite Louis' opposition. Three people formed a strange family. Decades later, Claudia began to resent Lestat for depriving him of his real life. She designed to kill Lestat and travel around the world with Louis, living a life like father, daughter and lover, looking for the same kind and looking for the meaning of her own existence. In Paris, they meet a group of vampires headed by Amon (Antonio Banderas), living on the ground floor of the theater and living a very different life from them. Amon taught Louis a lot and wanted to be Louis's new partner. There was a rift between Louis and Claudia, which eventually led to nothing.
