Jacob Singh (Tim Robbins Tim Robbins), a postal worker who now works in New York, was a perilous veteran in the Vietnam War. Unbearable broken memories stung every nerve in him, the failed first marriage, the premature death of his son, and the deepest sequelae of the Vietnam War. He often had the illusion that he was being hunted during the Vietnam War, and the familiar and unfamiliar details were both illusory and true. His current wife tries to help Jacob forget this painful memory, but the encounter between dream and reality makes Jacob completely lose his mind. When it comes to life and death, Jacob always wakes up in another time and space. The illusion of whether it is true or false makes him unable to extricate himself from the world of reality and fantasy.
