Xilian (Lian Jingya) son Junxu got lost in Seoul. Heartbroken, she took her amnesia mother-in-law back to her hometown to recuperate in the hope that her mother-in-law could remember how Junxu disappeared earlier. One day, Xilian met a shabby girl in a cave near Mangshan, perhaps sympathetic or empty and lonely. Xilian took the girl home and planned to take care of her before finding the unknown girl's parents. The two became closer and closer, and gradually the girl became like Xilian's daughter. She called Xilian's "mother" and called herself "Junxi". Her appearance and voice became more and more like the vanishing "Junxu". After the arrival of the mysterious girl, strange things happened one after another. Xilian's mother-in-law first heard voices, and then was taken away by the legendary demons living in the caves of Mangshan. Can Xi Lian find his son Junxu? Can the broken family be reunited in the shadow of the monster?
