The Duke of Kant (played by Renault Jean Reno) is a 12th-century aristocrat who comes to the castle to get engaged to the princess but is persecuted by treacherous people. The witch's poison was thrown into his glass, which made him drink ecstasy. In his delirium, Kant killed the princess and was put in prison. Servant Andre (Kristen Clavier Christian Clavier) goes to the wizard and asks Kant to go back to before the incident. But the careless wizard grabbed the wrong medicine, and Kant and Andre went to Chicago in the 21st century. They meet Julia (Christina Applegate Christina Applegate), the descendant of Kant, and learn that if they do not return to the 12th century in time, Princess Rosalyn will not be able to resurrect and the descendants will disappear. But Andre didn't want to be happy. He fell in love with a girl and didn't want to go back to the 12th century. However, time waits for no one, and Kant's return is becoming more and more urgent, while Andre is still dawdling in the gentle countryside. Things are getting trickier and harder.
