Kahaani (2012)

In Calcutta, full of music and joyous crowds, a seven-month-pregnant woman named Vidya (Vidya Balan Vidya Balan) stands alone in the dimmed lights. She comes to this strange city alone, with only one goal-to find her long-missing husband. Everyone believed in her husband's disappearance, and even she had no definite evidence that her husband was still alive, but deep down, Vidya did not believe in the fact that her husband was gone, let alone the people responsible for handling her husband's disappearance. With piecemeal evidence on her hands, she decided to find her husband on her own. However, as the investigation deepened, Vidia found that she seemed to be the one who was kept in the dark, and the truth was so remote and cruel.
