The story takes place in the Netherlands in the 19th century. Katie (Monica van der Von Monique van de Ven) was born in a very poor family and was forced to make a living, so Katie had to join the ranks of prostitution like her sister. By chance, Katie meets a painter named George (Peter Faber). George is fascinated by Katie's body and invites Katie to act as her mannequin.
