In the next century (Future Century,F.C.) due to the serious pollution of the earth, human beings moved to the cosmic colonial stars and established new China, New Japan, New America and other colonial star countries. Although countries still have territory on the earth, they have been seriously neglected. In order to avoid war, the countries decided to decide the domination of the colonial star powers over the earth by a Gundam Fight. The competition is held every four years, with the earth as the ring, and each country (colonial star) sends a representative to compete one-on-one, until there is only one winner. The country to which the winner belongs will be granted the control of the colonial star powers and the earth for four years until another country wins the next showdown. On the other hand, the inhabitants of the earth have to endure the damage done to wartime by representatives of various countries. The story takes place in the sixty years of the next century, when the 13th Gunda Competition began. The protagonist of the story, code errorbirds from New Japan, is in pursuit of the code error! (Devil Gun...) designed based on the three theories of DG cells, self-proliferation, self-regeneration and self-evolution.
