The screenplay comes from Zebi Harold, which is basically faithful to Thomas Mallory's 15th-century literary work the death of King Arthur. The plot subverts tradition and explores Arthur's journey from the market to the throne. Arthur's father was brutally killed when he was a child, and Arthur's uncle Vodageng (Jude Law Jude Law) usurped the throne, depriving Arthur (Charlie Hannam Charlie Hunnam) of his God-given right. He had no idea where he came from and grew up in the poor streets and alleys of the city, but when he drew his sword from the stone, his life was completely turned upside down, and Arthur had to accept his real mission.
