Far from Istanbul, Anatolia, retired theatrical actor Aiden (Haluk Bilginer) starts a new life as a columnist. Pretending to be concerned, he writes religious articles day after day, indulging in the seemingly profound world of thinking created by himself. Aiden uses his pension to run a hotel and has a number of properties that are being rented, which makes him look hypocritical and cold in his contact with ordinary people. Sister Nika (Demet Akbag is acted the role of) early divorce, often curled up in Aiden's study to argue about writing, and even ridicule each other.
