In the 1930s, in Zonggurdak, a small coal mining town in Turkey, the Republican movement was in progress. Several of the invited guests came to the boring town for the first time: Halit, a mining engineer, his beautiful wife M ü kerrem, and other family members. The son of the richest man in the area, N ü shet, invited M ü kerrem to dance, and Seniha saw the whole process in the corner. The fate of M ü kerrem will be changed by this town. It's the 1930s.
