In 1959, William Dawes Elementary School in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA, was about to celebrate its school anniversary, and the idea put forward by the little girl Lucinda Amberle (Lara Robinson) was adopted by the headmaster. On the school day, students will draw their own ideas for the future and concentrate on burying them in a metal time capsule, ready to reopen it 50 years later. After the school day, Lucinda, who behaved strangely, wrote strange words on the wall in blood and warned the teacher. In 2009, William Dawes Elementary School ushered in the school day again, and the time capsule that had been buried underground for 50 years came to light. Little boy Keller (Chandler Canterbury) gets a letter from Lucinda. There are no pictures on it and the whole page is full of irregular numbers. Keller's father John (Nicholas Cage Nicolas Cage) studies the numbers at night and finds that they are a set of prophetic passwords.
