Kriya (2020)

Neel works as DJ at a nightclub, and one night, he meets Sitara who fascinates him. When the two return to Sitara's home, Neel is surprised to find Sitara's dying father tied up-Sitara's family gathered around to pray for him. Neel was frightened by what he saw but felt sympathy at the same time, so he decided to stay. In India, where it is customary for sons to perform death ceremonies for their parents, there are no men in Sitara's family. So when Sitara's father took his last breath, Sitara coerced Neel to perform the ritual for his father. Neel stumbled into this world full of magic, and he finally made up his mind to escape. As dawn came, the Sitara family seemed to be suffering from some old spell, and Neel was caught up in it.
