At the end of the experiment, he was sent to a future that avoided havoc. But he refused the opportunity and wanted to be with the woman he loved. In the end, however, he suddenly realized that the death he often dreamed of in his childhood was himself. The sci-fi avant-garde short film "Embankment", directed and written by Chris Mark, a representative of the left bank of Sina Chao, is a milestone in the history of science fiction films. The whole film uses a completely still picture to simulate human impressions of the past and tells a post-apocalyptic story. Concise and powerful sound atmosphere, smooth and concise editing footage, coupled with poetic narration language, the broken memory of a dream is depicted shockingly.
