In a gorgeous villa in the suburbs, middle-aged plastic surgeon Robert Redga (Antonio Banderas Antonio Banderas) and loyal old servant Marilia (Marisa Paredes) live here. In the past 12 years, he has lost his wife Gail and daughter Norma (Ana Mena). A series of human tragedies have completely upended Robert's seemingly perfect life and pushed his career and research into completely unknown territory.
