In a twinkling of an eye, Mary (Juliet Binoche Juliette Binoche) is already a 40-year-old woman who wakes up one day and loses all her memories of the previous 15 years. In other words, from a memory point of view, 40-year-old Mary is like a 25-year-old girl. Mary was shocked to look at her life and the whole world at the age of 25.
