A mysterious time of death attracted the attention of paleontologist Kelly (Bridget Fonda Bridget Fonda). In order to understand the truth of the incident, Kelly traveled all the way to the scene of the incident, an ancient lake, and what happened later convinced Kelly that something terrible was hidden under the calm surface of the lake. Kelly's guess caused a sensation in the town. Some people believed it, others didn't. At the height of the popularity of public opinion, the tragedy of a tourist being dragged into a lake by an unknown object made everyone realize that the matter was serious. Kelly and caretaker Jack (Bill Pullman Bill Pullman), Sheriff Hank (Brendan Gleason Brendan Gleeson) and others investigated the ancient lake, and shockingly, at the bottom of the lake, they found an extremely ferocious and huge prehistoric alligator.
