Le ballon d'or (1994)

Bando, a little country boy, is determined to become a football star, just like Mira from Cameroon has brought the highest honor to the people of Africa. Although his family was poor and had to go to school while doing farm work for his family, Bando was determined to make his own money to buy a real football. Fortunately, he got a gift from a female doctor: an old ball. When the sun shines on the ball, it looks like a golden football. Bendo loves this football so much that he sees it as the key to another world. But playing football caused a fire. Bando fled his hometown and went to Conakry, the capital of Guinea, to show his football talent. Here he is temporarily away from football and is forced to work for a living. With the help of his friends, he watched the real football match with his own eyes and took the opportunity to show his football skills. Since then, after training at the football school, Bando finally proved his football talent on the pitch, even though his agent qualified him by improper means.
