Suzanne (Juliet Binoche Juliette Binoche) is so busy with the voice performances and other trifles of a character in a puppet drama adapted from Chinese Yuanqu, "ask for a wife to cook a sea man," and her husband Pierre is writing a novel in Montreal, Canada, and her son Simon (Simon Iteanu) has become an "encumbrance." helplessly, she hired Song (Song Fang Song Fang), a Chinese girl studying in Paris, to take care of Simon.
