A wonderful "Harvard trip" earned blonde Ellie Woods (Reese Witherspoon) both a law degree and a sweet love. After graduation, Ellie and her handsome boyfriend Emmett (Luke Wilson) begin to prepare for their grand and romantic wedding. In order to share her happiness with her closest friend, Bruiser, Ellie is going to "invite" her parents to the wedding.
