Martin (Mel Gibson Mel Gibson) and Roger (Danny Glover Danny Glover) are old friends and colleagues who have known each other for many years. They are both police officers. Once on the way to sea with their mutual friend Gates (Joe Percy Joe Pesci), the trio came across a ship that was illegal immigrants. Martin, as a policeman, knew that he could not sit idly by, so he launched a fierce struggle with gangsters. Among the stowaways, a man named Ah Hong (Kaohsiung), the kind-hearted Roger took him and his family with nowhere else to go. Unexpectedly, it was this move that infuriated the dangerous gang head king (Jet Li). In order to snatch Hong from Roger's hands, Wang did a lot of harmful things.
