During the prohibition period in the United States, Redford (Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy) is a pickpocket idling around all day, while Claude (Martin Lawrence Martin Lawrence), a bank clerk, has a bad habit of gambling, and fate brings two men who are diametrically opposed to each other to deliver private drinks for Mr. Spangi (Rick James). However, the deal was sabotaged by the black-hearted sheriff, causing Redford and Claude to be jailed, waiting for the sentence of life imprisonment. In this way, Redford and Claude, two originally ordinary small potatoes, had to spend the rest of their lives behind bars. The two unlucky guys do not deal with each other originally, and suddenly become "roommates" who get along with each other day and night, and contradictions and quarrels are inevitable. However, with the passage of time, solid friendships also emerge.
