Ordinary girl Shiko (Ai Hashimoto) grew up in Komori, a village in northeastern Japan. The villagers work at sunrise and rest at sunset, relying on a pair of industrious hands to manage a small but comfortable life, at peace with the rest of the world. Shizi once went to Tokyo, but after all, she could not adapt to the fast pace of the city, and finally returned to the old house where her mother was long gone. In her childhood, her mother, Joy, used all kinds of ingredients in the mountains and fields to make randomly named delicacies.
