Little Girl (2020)

The four-year-old said to his mother, I want to be a girl when I grow up. His mother at first took him for fun, but he convinced her with action and determination that gender identity awareness should not be taken lightly, but a matter of life and death. Gender is no longer determined by biological genes, human determination can prevail over heaven, and political correctness is the king. From having to face the disclosure of abnormal mothers, to the perspective of doctors and psychological counseling, the communication between the parties and friends, and striving to wear skirts to school and ballet, we can see through the hardships of winning acceptance and changing people's customs everywhere, which is no less than any tough fight. The camera captures the bitterness and joy of the family facing various transgender challenges side by side, such as drinking water, and the audience can feel warm and cold.
