Little Vera (1988)
Born in a worker's family, little Vera graduated from high school and was not admitted to college because of poor grades. Their parents were grumpy and quarreled a lot, and they were very dissatisfied with little Vera, who was idle all day, so they ordered their brother Victor, who worked in Moscow, to come back to educate her. In order to pass the boring time, little Vera dressed up as a fashionable girl, met Sergei, a college student from the College of Metallurgy at an open-air ball in the park, and spent the night in Sergei's dormitory that day. After that, little Vera and Sergei, who love each other, are going to get married. Sergei moved to little Vera's house, but he didn't like the way Vera's parents lived. Once, after an altercation with Vera's father, Sergei was stabbed by the drunken Vera's father. Under her mother's repeated requests and constant pressure, Vera went to the police station to commit perjury and put the blame on Sergei. Little Vera, who had lost love and hope, was so discouraged that she swallowed a large number of sleeping pills and was later rescued by her brother. After getting drunk, my father had a heart attack and died on the kitchen floor.
