This film takes the local family in the 1960s as the main axis, through the fate of its members, brings out the early life of Gambang and the later HDB life, the plot spans decades. The film will also reflect how Singapore has evolved from a society with dialects as the mainstream language to Mandarin to today's English, reviewing the lost dialects. It will also be integrated into many of the director's personal experiences, and will install a number of nostalgic songs.
