Lucky for them tells the story of a female rock journalist, Allie Kluge (Toni Klaette) is forced to take on any assignment to look back on her past, which annoys her very much. She also works with amateur documentary director Charlie (played by Thomas Harden Church), who is very eccentric. Albeit reluctantly, Allie has to open her dusty memories, and only by facing the past can she really meet the future.
