Lucy (Scarlett Johansson Scarlett Johansson), a young woman who is forced to deliver goods by her evil boyfriend, encounters a gang of ferocious gang leader Mr. Zhang (Cui Minzhi). She, together with three men, was sewn into his abdomen by Mr. Zhang into a mysterious medicine codenamed CPH4, in order to smuggle the medicine into different countries. During her stay in Taipei, Lucy was beaten by a bad man, so that the medicine broke into the bloodstream. Unexpectedly, something incredible happened, and the drug stimulated the potential of Lucy's brain, causing about 90% of the neurons in the brain to wake up one after another. With the rapid evolution of the body, Lucy has mastered more and more of what people call superpowers. She was well aware of the power of CPH4, so she tried to prevent the other three bags of medicine from falling into the hands of Mr. Zhang and his gang. During this period, she tried to get in touch with Samuel Norman (Morgan Freeman Morgan Freeman), a senior professor of brain research, who witnessed a historic moment when Lucy's brain wakes up at 100%.
