Audrey (Marina Hans Marina Hands) is a woman in her late thirties who stands at a turning point in her destiny when an unexpected pregnancy makes her think about the true meaning of life. Audrey's relationship with her mother Martin (Catherine Deneuve Catherine Deneuve) is not harmonious, and it can even be described as "cold". Such a family environment has created Audrey's inferiority complex. She does not know whether she can bear the burden of being a "mother", let alone whether it is the right choice to bring her child to this cruel world. By accident, Audrey found the diary of her grandmother Louis (Marie- Jos é e Croze) in her grandfather's old house, who had abandoned her family and disappeared. With her mother Martin, Audrey begins to piece together a lost history through a diary, and in the process, a secret hidden in the family gradually emerges.
