In 1999, an alien space warship crashed to Earth, and it took a decade to repair and call it "MACROSS". In 2009, Fort MACROSS was holding a concert by idol Mingmei Lin (voiced by Mingmei Iijima) when an air raid alarm sounded and the fortress began to deform. During the battle, a Hui (voiced by Haseya Youyang) piloted a transformation battle to save a young girl, but the fighter plane crashed into the outer cabin because of its speed. After settling down, Hui found that Lin Mingmei had been saved. After the two met, in order to make Minmei happy, Hui stealthily opened the trainer and took Minmei for a ride. The enemy took advantage of the opportunity, but fortunately, the friend stood up to save him. After a melee, Hui and Hayase woke up and found that he was on a barren planet. They learned that 500000 years ago, when an ancient civilization called Prodo reached its peak, it was already possible to reproduce asexually by genetic code. so the country split into male "Gertratti" and female "Heltrandi" began tens of thousands of years of war. Civilization declined sharply in the war, and the once great culture was forgotten and degenerated into a race that could only fight.
