Around the surging 1970s, on the other side of the ocean, man landed on the moon for the first time. On this side of the world, student movements in Japan are in the ascendant. There is still a fire in the heart of the young reporter Zeta (his wife Mu Cong is acted the role of) watching the older generation and future generations of students "feats", mixed feelings. Under the introduction of the reporter's predecessor Zhongping, Zeta intends to make an exclusive report on the youth activist who calls himself Meishan (Kenichi Matsuyama). Meishan was full of lofty ideals and hype, and although there was a warning from Zhongping afterwards, Zeta still couldn't help believing in Meishan's revolutionary ideas. During this period, he saw through some of Meishan's lies and saw the impractical side of his organization. However, Meishan is like a virus, bringing not only Sawada, but also his comrades-in-arms and companions into an irreparable abyss. This film is adapted from Saburo Kawamoto's reportage of the same name and won the ninth place of the Top Ten Film report in 2011. ©Douban
